Appearance: bright ruby at this stage
Aroma: bouquet of rose, plum, dried cherry, and mulberry with mild oakiness
Palate: fine silky tannins with fresh and vibrant structure. big, dense, and full with integrated beautiful length. quality and rich in juicy fruit. complexity is there.

Pop and pour. Stunning right there. A pretty fine bottle of Barolo with 100% Nebbiolo of Rose clone. I could just sip this all night long. It is drinking wonderfully now but it would be interesting to follow during the next decades. Fascinating future lies ahead of this Elvio Cogno Barolo Vigna Elena Riserva 2007.
